WRANGELL, ALASKA Cascade Creek LLC is still pursuing Thomas Bay hydropower development. That’s despite the recent Galore Creek Mine closure and the Northwest BC transmission line suspension. Petersburg has expressed opposition to the project that’s located only 15 miles north of the town, but the city of Wrangell continues support.
