2008 SEREMS Symposium in Wrangell

WRANGELL, ALASKA An influx of people from all over southeast has begun to arrive in Wrangell for the Southeast Region EMS Symposium. It its over 20-year history, this is only the second time the symposium has taken place outside of Sitka. According to board president of Southeast Region EMS Council, Terry Buness, Wrangell is more than ready. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.

For the time being, the city water system has stabilized, but the crisis is not over. Everyone still needs to conserve and keep finding ways to cut water consumption. It is now raining but the amount of water is not the problem. The problem is; our water treatment plant can’t treat water fast enough to keep up with the demand. more
