Rep. Wilson wraps up another session

WRANGELL, ALASKA Wrangell representative Peggy Wilson focused on ferries and funding during this year's legislative session. She pushed through a bill making changes to the Marine Transportation Advisory Board. And she worked with other southeast lawmakers to fund major projects in her district. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.

The U.S. Forest Service recently announced it is changing its proposal for a timber sale on Wrangell Island. The Forest Service is proposing a harvest of about 5,300 acres for 73 million board feet of mostly old growth timber. more
