New Wrangell medical facility needs a location

WRANGELL, ALASKA Wrangell Medical Center CEO Noel Rae has been actively looking for potential sites for a new health care center. The site would house all the health care available in Wrangell, including all the facilities of the Wrangell Medical Center and Alaska Island Community Services. At least five acres will be needed for space requirements as well as room for expansion. The search was narrowed down to four sites and a recent study presented to the borough assembly Tuesday night reveals which one is best suited for development.
