A sure sign of spring in Wrangell is the annual health fair sponsored by Wrangell Medical Center. Kris Reed, WMC Development Coordinator and Health Fair Committee member, is working on getting everything in place for Wrangell’s 2015 Health Fair which is set to take place on Saturday, April 4th. KSTK’s Cindy Sweat had a chance to speak with Reed about the Health Fair and some big changes taking place this year. more

Assembly hears WMC update, approves hospital budget change

The Wrangell Borough Assembly Tuesday heard a report on the financial situation of the Wrangell Medical Center. The hospital nearly ran out of cash last year, but WMC officials say the financials are improving. more
