WRANGELL Last week, Wrangell's search for a borough manager came to an end when the Wrangell Assembly approved the hire of Tim Rooney. The Borough gets a person with years of experience in community planning and public administration. Rooney has been working with the City of Owasso, Oklahoma, for the past 17 years and is a former resident of Kodiak, Alaska. He replaces Bob Prunella, who has since moved on to become Petersburg interim city manager. KSTK's Tony Gorman had an opportunity to speak with Rooney about accepting the job and some of his goals once he gets to Wrangell.
