WRANGELL For years, the Tongass National Forest has been one of the biggest attractions in Southeast Alaska. Some local residents are looking to bring more visitors to the area by improving its recreational activities. Last week, Wrangellites gathered at the Saint Philip's Episcopal Church Meeting Hall to discuss ways to develop a long-term recreational and economic development plan for the Wrangell Ranger District.
