WRANGELL Leaders from Southeast Alaska and Northwest British Columbia convened at the Nolan Center last Saturday for the first-ever Wrangell Energy Summit. The Summit was hosted by the newly-formed Alaska Canada Energy Coalition also known as the ACE Coalition. The main purpose of the meeting was to support the creation of a powerline connecting Southeast Alaska and British Columbia. But as KSTK's Tony Gorman reports, the Intertie and hydropower weren't the only items on the agenda.
