The renovation of Chief Shakes Tribal House was completed last week. A small gathering celebrated the end of the yearlong rebuilding of the historic cedar structure near downtown Wrangell. Contributor Greg Knight attended the event.
Wrangell’s water system received a mostly clean bill of health Tuesday. According to a water quality report for 2015, what’s coming out of Wrangell’s taps had high levels of chlorine byproducts, but new equipment could change that. more
