We have a special update on a special dog that’s finally home safe.
You’ve probably heard announcements on the radio or maybe you’ve been following the updates on our Facebook page about Shelby, the lost dog from Petersburg.
Of course this isn’t the first time a pet’s been lost and found in Wrangell. But there was something about this dog and its owners’ desperate search that caught the attention of local Wrangellites and KSTK listeners as far away as California alike.
Here’s the story of Shelby’s unlikely adventure.
A Petersburg Fisherman early this month recovered more than half of the hand-carved cedar paddles that had been lost by the One People Canoe Society late last month.
