There are three candidates for this year’s Fourth of July royalty contest. They are Darian Meissner, Kayla Rooney, and Jennifer Ludwigsen.
Ludwigsen was born and raised in Wrangell, is a stay-at-home mother of three, and says she’s wanted to be a queen candidate since she was a little kid.
KSTK’s Shady Grove Oliver spoke with Ludwigsen about her preparations for this year’s event. This is part of that interview.
KSTK will bring you interviews with the other two candidates along with full coverage of this year’s celebration, coming soon.
