Southeast Alaskans critiqued the Marine Highway System’s 2013-2014 fall, winter and spring schedule Tuesday.
Leaders and others from around the region spoke and asked questions during a teleconference.
Some thanked ferry officials for answering past concerns. But many said other problems need to be addressed.

In response to budget cuts at the state level, the Wrangell Public School District left the National School Lunch Program earlier this year and replaced it with a cheaper, simpler “supplemental” food program. more
