The Wrangell Medical Center Health Fair was Saturday, April 6th.

KSTK’s Shady Grove Oliver was there and spoke with several vendors. This is the next in a series of audio postcards she sent back from the event.

In this postcard, we hear from Alaska Island Community Services and the tobacco prevention program at Wrangell Public Schools.

Wrangell beaches tested for water quality

City Park and Petroglyph Beach are undergoing weekly water quality testing this summer. The Southeast Alaska Watershed Coalition is monitoring the water for bacteria that could be harmful to beachgoers. more
