Vice Mayor Privett resigns

Vice Mayor Bill Privett has resigned. His resignation from the Borough Assembly was accepted at Tuesday’s meeting at City Hall.

The Anan Wildlife Observatory is located 30 miles from Wrangell and is best known for its bears. Anan is currently managed under a 10-year plan which is up for its next review. The Forest Service is in the process of re-vamping this plan to accommodate more local and commercial visitors.
