Wrangell – Photo by Shady Grove Oliver/KSTK

The summer solstice was one week ago. Dozens of locals and seasonal workers headed downtown for the solstice party.

It was also the unofficial Fourth of July kickoff. KSTK’s Shady Grove Oliver was at the event and sent back this audio postcard.

Remember Austin Hicks, because we’ll hear from him once again.

At the solstice party he asked to be a KSTK intern reporter for the evening.

In the spirit of fun, Shady Grove Oliver let him have a go at interviewing. We’ll have the audio postcard he recorded for you on Monday.
