Proposed sales tax cut means cheaper goods but fewer public services

A ballot initiative to lower Wrangell’s city sales tax by one and a half percent is up for a vote of the public in the October first general elections.

Voices of the Tongass

Michael Guggenbickler, a senior at WHS, has chosen to host a Community Radio show every Wednesday evening at 7pm for his Senior Project and will be featuring Voices on the Tongass as part of his show.

Wrangell cross country boys take 2nd, 7th place in meet

Wrangell’s cross country team traveled to Juneau last weekend to compete in a 5k or 3.1 mile run. Wrangell is a 3A school, which means it competes in the ‘small school’ category.

Letter to SEAPA back on the table
