On Wednesday, April 23rd, 2014, at 6:00 pm, Wrangell will hold an inter-agency disaster drill. The purpose of this drill is to give Wrangell’s emergency responders and medical teams the opportunity to practice their response in the event of a community wide emergency. This event will be a drill, not a real emergency . No action from community members will need to be taken.

Fifty Southeast Alaska business-owners are asking Congress to give more money to the Tongass National Forest recreation program.
