WRANGELL, ALASKA In the age of interactive video games, like Nintendo Wii, it's refreshing when a kid picks up an old fashion jump rope and … jumps. That’s what the students of Evergreen Elementary School did on Wednesday morning. Jump Rope for Heart is a national event. And thanks to organizer Holly Hammer, this is its second year in Wrangell. The event helps children understand the important of physical activity while raising money for the American Heart Association. KSTK's Lisa Phu brings us the story.
