Wrangell wants left over money from AK-BC appropriation

The topic of the Bradfield Corridor, also known as the AK-BC intertie or Bradfield Road, resurfaced at Tuesday night's Wrangell borough assembly meeting. Assembly member Ernie Christian suggested that Wrangell go after the funds left over from the Alaska Energy Authority appropriation, the majority of which went towards the Kake-Petersburg intertie.

WMC Foundation ready to give back

The Wrangell Medical Center Foundation was established last year as a non-profit foundation. This enables the Wrangell Medical Center to raise funds, apply for grants, and accept financial gifts from donors. As Wrangell Medical Center CEO Noel Rea explains, the Foundation is having a healthy beginning and is ready to start giving back to the community.
