WRANGELL StoryCorps is making a stop in Wrangell. The New York and San Francisco-based oral history project was brought the Land of the Midnight Sun, last October, as part of its Alaska Initiative. For the past five months, StoryCorps facilitators have gathered stories in Fairbanks, Barrow, Nome, Dillingham, Juneau, and Unalaska. Now the Initiative has expanded to other Alaska towns including Wrangell. Former KSTK reporter Lisa Phu participated in the project in Barrow. She recently stopped by KSTK to talk to Tony Gorman about her experiences and what Wrangellites can bring to the table.
