WRANGELL The Borough of Wrangell is expected to bring in another source of revenue through a statewide fish tax program. The Shared Fisheries Business Tax Program provides a sharing of state fish tax collected outside municipal boundaries with other municipalities affected by fishing industry activities. Based on fisheries activities reported by fish processors, municipalities across the state shared approximately $1.64 million in 2008. KSTK's Tony Gorman reports.
