Wrangellites brave nasty weather for Choose Respect Awareness Walk

Wrangell was one of eighteen cities in the state to participate in Governor Sean Parnell's Choose Respect Awareness Walk. The event was used to promote awareness against domestic violence and sexual assault. Health Fair Week: AICS offers many options at Wrangell Health Fair

Alaska Island Community Services started from humble beginnings and is now Wrangell's largest employer. The non-profit organization offers a wide range of services from behavior health counseling to dental care. Those attributes along with other services will be on display this week at the Wrangell Health Fair. KSTK's Tony Gorman spoke with AICS's Carly Allen about the many booths that will be offered at the event.
