Election polls closed on Tuesday October 4th at 8p.m at the Wrangell Nolan Civic Center. KSTK’s Charlotte Duren was at the polls and has the unofficial results for this year’s regular municipal election.

The City and Borough of Wrangell recently recognized October as National Anti-Bullying month. And taking anti bullying into their own hands are two high school seniors who are working on a program to spread the word about anti-bullying and educate students of all ages on how they can help stop the problem. KSTK’s Charlotte Duren has more on the program.

Wrangell Municipal Light and Power Electric Superintendent Steve Henson recently retired, and hired to replace Henson is local Clay Hammer. KSTK’s Charlotte Duren talks with Hammer about the new position and his participation in last week’s Energy Conference in Juneau.
