Wrangell High School holds DDF Tournament Nov. 11-12

Coming up this weekend Wrangell High School’s Drama Debate and Forensics team is holding a region wide tournament. The tournament will feature D-D-F teams from all over southeast Alaska, which include Ketchikan, Petersburg, Sitka, Mt. Edgecumbe, Juneau-Douglas, Thunder Mountain, and Haines. Master Carver selected to honor fallen guardsmen

The Sitka based U.S. Coast Guard ‘Cutter Maple’ recently made a stop in Wrangell to meet with master carver Wayne Price, and pick up two red cedar trees that Price will use to create a memorial totem pole later this month in Sitka. KSTK’s Charlotte Duren has more.
