Shanna Mall was hired as Wrangell’s secondary arts teacher this school year. And by the end of the first semester she was fired for inappropriate behavior around students and fellow staff. She made an appeal to the school board to get her job back.
After seven hours of testimony and a closed door session, the school board sided with the superintendent, and denied Mall’s appeal for rehire.
