A fire has wrecked extensive damage to the Stikine Auto shop on Peninsula St. The local fire department responded Friday around 2:30. The entire interior of the shop is torched as well as a truck cab. The exact cause of the fire is unknown, but Stikine Auto owner John Evers was working in his shop at the time. Evers made it out of the fire without injuries.
