Talk on the Rock is KSTK’s live call-in show. Every Tuesday at 1pm we welcome a local guest to discuss events and topics of interest to our little island town. For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Tom Jenkins with the Wrangell Senior Center. Tom spoke about the mission and basic services of the center, and some of the recent changes in staff and the building. Tom also gave us a sense of some new fun activites he’d like to see at the center, including sharing his of playing the ukulele and square dancing.
Tom welcomes anyone wanting to facilitate any activities (crafts, music, exercise, bingo, etc.) at or through the center.
