Borough Manager Lisa VonBargen met with Senator Dan Sullivan. Sullivan says there is still funding available for PPP and has workers in his office to assist businesses in applying for PPP. Local businesses who would like assistance are encouraged to call City Hall for information on reaching Sullivan’s office.
Alaska Municipal League has been facilitating meetings among Southeast communities to create standard protocols for small cruise ship visits. Communities and industry officials are coming together to form mutually agreed upon standards before cruise ships tie up in Southeast towns.
SEARHC is putting in place a community wide testing program.
