Talk on the Rock is KSTK’s live call-in show. Every Tuesday at 1pm we welcome a local guest to discuss events and topics of interest to our little island town. For this week’s episode, host June Leffler spoke with Kristy Woodbury. She is the board secretary for Muskeg Meadows, Wrangell’s local, non-profit golf course. Muskeg Meadows opened in 1993 to provide a recreational spot for golfers in the region, as well as walkers and birders in town. Kristy says COVID-19 travel restrictions have had their impact on the golf course. Many cruise ship passengers visit the golf course during their stay. Kristy also says an 18-basket disc golf course is in the works. She expects that to be up and running this summer.
