Wrangell’s Unified Command was notified of a fourth confirmed COVID-19 case. The patient was identified through the State’s airport testing program. The patient is currently in quarantine. Public Health is currently monitoring 30 close contacts or publicly identified individuals to the first three identified confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wrangell.

Public Health Officials are investigating the case to identify a source and conduct contact tracing. A Public Health representative will notify persons who may have come in close contact with the individual. Questions about close contact should be directed to Public Health Nurse Erin Michael at 907.772.4611.
