On Monday, August 9th the Wrangell Emergency Operations Center was notified of a new positive COVID case in Wrangell.  The individual is a Wrangell resident who recently traveled out of state and is symptomatic.  The individual is isolating.  The person’s vaccination status was not noted and no other information has been made public at this time.  The total number of known, active COVID cases in Wrangell is six.

Wrangell has had a total of 79 cases of coronavirus since the beginning of the pandemic.
