Episode 27: With Wrangell’s municipal election approaching on Oct. 1, incumbent Mayor Patricia (Patty) Gilbert stopped by KSTK to talk with News Director Colette Czarnecki about what her priorities are in the public service role. The retired school teacher and president of the non-profit organization, WMC Cancer Care Foundation, informed the community on achievements that she and the borough assembly accomplished, the time it takes to follow through on goals and why she wants to run again.
The other candidate, Vice-Mayor David Powell, declined to participate in Talk on the Rock. He did speak with KSTK about the election separately. That interview will be published next week.
