Episode 57: Solvay Gillen and her young assistant stopped by KSTK to talk about all of the services the Wrangell Senior Center provides to folks 60 and older in Wrangell. From meals to rides, the Senior Center provides valuable assistance to many in our community. Solvay also talks about ways anyone in Wrangell can volunteer to help at the center from helping the staff to bringing a craft, hobby or other skill to share with others at the center. Besides contacting the Senior Center for rides and meals, seniors are encouraged to stop by to watch TV, use the internet, visit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy being social with others.
