Episode 74: The Salvation Army’s Captain Chase Tomberlin-Green talked with KSTK’s Colette Czarnecki about this season’s Annual Red Kettle Kickoff Fundraiser, Wrangell for Wrangell, the upcoming holidays and the local food bank. He mentioned that all donations will go towards launching and operating the new soup kitchen at the beginning of next year.
Other events include annual dinner at the Stikine Inn, which will be on Nov. 29. Tickets are on sale now and cost $75.
As Thanksgiving approaches, people interested in signing up for a Thanksgiving Holiday Basket should sign up by Nov. 11.
Additionally, those interested in signing up for toys as gifts during the Christmas season should sign up soon.
