An audio postcard on Tuesday’s election in Wrangell

General election voters voted at Wrangell’s Nolan Center on Tuesday. KSTK’s Colette Czarnecki went down to the convention center and talked with some of them about what’s important to them. The United States presidency, ranked-choice voting and raising the minimum wage in Alaska were the dominating issues on the ballot for most of the people she talked with. Episode 34: Professional diver Emily Klosterman speaks with KSTK’s Colette Czarnecki about her underwater passion, what’s involved with it and a little bit on the U.S. Forest Service Commercial Dive team. Klosterman said that her education at the University of Alaska Southeast pushed her diving career forward, where she was able to live and work in a few different locations and environments.
