Wrangell police responded to stabbing at trailer park Tuesday morning

Wrangell police have arrested a woman in a stabbing that took place at Evergreen Trailer Park early Tuesday morning.

Wrangellites have two more days to declare candidacy for borough seats

Wrangellites have until August 30 to get their name on the local election ballot-that is if they want to run for school board, borough assembly, port commission or mayor.

Rules may soon change for grounds and markers at Wrangell’s cemeteries. When the Wrangell Borough Assembly meets tonight, it will consider a change to code that will allow decorations related to Memorial Day and Independence Day to remain intact throughout the holidays.
