She explained her identity as a moderate, consensus-type candidate, where she said she’s “middle-of-the-road.” Her priorities include the Alaska Marine Highway System, education, affordable housing and protecting fisheries and the Permanent Fund Dividend. She serves as the executive director of Women in Safe Homes – also known as WISH, which is a regional domestic violence shelter. She also serves on the boards of Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority and First Bank.
