Jack re-elected as mayor, Eagle re-elected to school board

David Jack was re-elected as borough mayor in the Oct. 7 regular election. Susan Eagle was re-elected to the school board in the other contested race.

Borough assembly moves forward with animal control ordinance

The Wrangell Borough Assembly Tuesday unanimously gave first-round approval to two ordinances related to animal control. The ordinances aim to deal with the problem of unaccompanied dogs wandering the streets.
