Women will Rally for the Cure at Muskeg Meadows

Rally for the Cure women's golf event is coming to Wrangell's Muskeg Meadows for the fourth year in a row. Women of all ages, golfers and non-golfers alike, are invited to participate in Rally for the Cure, which takes place on August 15. TBPA wants to halt disagreements on energy

Despite competing FERC permit applications for Ruth Lake as well as some other disagreements regarding energy in the region, Wrangell and Petersburg may soon be working toward the same goals once again. 2009 Fish Camp

Last month, a group of young Wrangellites wrapped up the First Annual Fish Camp. The group took a trip up the Stikine River where they learned how to catch and prepare smoked fish. The trip was funded through a traditional foods grant from the Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC). Local SEARHC Health Advocate Tammi Meissner recently talked with KSTK's Tony Gorman about the experience.
