Wrangell gets school-funding boost

Wrangell recently learned it would get an increase in federal education funds this year. Borough and school officials had worried the $750,000 annual payments would disappear. But last-minute Congressional action approved the Secure Rural Schools Act funding. It also boosted the amount to about $930,000 for this year.
