Fourth of July is one of Wrangell's biggest events. Every year, the Wrangell Chamber of Commerce hold the Fourth of July Royalty contest to help fund the event for the following year. KSTK's Tony Gorman has more on this year's contestants.

Governor Sarah Palin made quite the impression during her visit to Wrangell. She impressed Wrangellites, so much,that the Wrangell Assembly is thinking about having her back for a second visit. KSTK's Tony Gorman has more.

This week was suppose to be Wrangell Borough Manager Bob Prunella's last week on the job. Those plans changed when the Wrangell Assembly asked Prunella to stay on while the Borough continues to find his permanent replacement. KSTK's Tony Gorman reports.

The Wrangell Medical Center Foundation took advantage of Memorial Day Weekend to hold their Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Wrangell's Muskeg Meadows. Later, golfers and non-golfers enjoyed an evening of fun at the WMC Foundation's Dinner and Auction. Proceeds from the event went toward various projects at the Wrangell Medical Center.
