Nationally-renowned storyteller Gene Tagaban stopped through Wrangell as part of a series of storytelling work shops throughout the Southeast Alaska sponsored by SEARHC. Tagaban, who is a Juneau native and of Tlingit descent, spent most of April sharing his stories through dance and music. KSTK’s Tony Gorman had a chance to catch up with him after his final workshop.

The field of candidates for Wrangell borough manager has been narrowed down to the semi-finalists. The Wrangell Assembly is looking to replace longtime Borough Manager Bob Prunella, who is retiring at the end of May after almost nine years on the job. KSTK's Tony Gorman reports.
