But there's a criticism from the public that the committee hasn't addressed the disadvantages of boroughhood. Wrangell council changes mind about Cascade Creek

Since their last meeting two weeks ago, the Wrangell city council has changed their tone regarding Cascade Creek LLC. Cascade Creek is a company trying to develop hydroelectric projects in three lakes near Thomas Bay north of Petersburg. These projects are jointly called the Thomas Bay Energy Development.
After hearing from Cascade Creek representative Duff Mitchell, who spoke during Tuesday night’s meeting, the city may be poised to sign a confidentiality agreement with the company after all. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.
