With the ballots for the Wrangell borough incorporation mailed out and people gearing up to vote, Wrangell's economic development director clears up some misconceptions and confusions that were brought up during the last public meeting on borough formation. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.

In anticipation of the Stikine River Garnet Festival, the jet boats in Wrangell have begun taking excursions up the river to see the abundance of wildlife. KSTK's Lisa Phu recently got a spring peak of the river on Alaska Waters' Chutine Warrior, and files this story.

The city's borough committee has made a big effort to get information out to the public regarding the benefits of borough formation. But there's a criticism from the public that the committee hasn't addressed the disadvantages of boroughhood. This Tuesday, April 15, Reverend Janice Stamper and Elder Nettie Covalt from the First Presbyterian Church of Wrangell will be leaving for Madagascar. They will be taking part in a project that started three years ago by three Wrangell boys. KSTK's Lisa Phu brings us the story.

Guardian Flight, a medevec company which has been serving southeast for five years, has just started a new program called Guardian Flight Air Care. Under this program, an individual can pay a nominal fee for one year of assured ground and air ambulance transportation for the whole family. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.
