Elementary students jump with heart

In the age of interactive video games, like Nintendo Wii, it's refreshing when a kid picks up an old fashion jump rope and … jumps. That’s what the students of Evergreen Elementary School did on Wednesday morning. Jump Rope for Heart is a national event. And thanks to organizer Holly Hammer, this is its second year in Wrangell. Wrangell Seafoods pays light bill

At their last meeting, the Wrangell City Council said they would be giving Wrangell Seafoods two business days until their power would be shut off. In those two days, the company could either take care of safety issues associated with having the power shut off, or they could pay their utility bill. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.
