This year's annual middle school spelling bee was larger than ever with twenty-three contestants. KSTK's Lisa Phu checked out the competition on Tuesday afternoon and files this report.

The borough committee held their first organizational meeting Tuesday evening. With almost all of the members present, the committee figured out what needs to be done in future meetings. KSTK's Lisa Phu reports.

Thursday kicks off another season of Story Time at the library. Story Time is just one of the multitude of services offered at Wrangell’s Irene Ingle Public Library. KSTK's Lisa Phu recently stopped by the library and found it to be a lot more than just a building with books.

For the second year in a row, AARP is offering Tax-Aide in Wrangell. Tax-Aide in a free, volunteer-run tax counseling and preparation service. KSTK's Lisa Phu spoke with Tax-Aide counselors Ann Schnell and Paula Rak and files this report.
