The Wrangell High School Cross Country team was in action over Labor Day weekend. Both boys and girls' teams were looking to put on a show for the home crowd as they hosted last Saturday's Wrangell Invitational. KSTK's Tony Gorman has more on how the Wolves fared.

This week, the City and Borough of Wrangell was introduced to its new borough manager. Tim Rooney was hired over the summer after spending the better part of 17 years as the assistant city administrator of Owasso, Oklahoma. He is also a former resident of Kodiak, Alaska. As KSTK's Tony Gorman reports Rooney had a busy first day which included attending his first Wrangell Assembly meeting.

The Lady Wolves Volleyball team is off to a slow start to the 2009-10 season after falling to Petersburg over the weekend. KSTK's Tony Gorman reports.
