Kim Szczatko woke up in the middle of the night and rushed to her gift shop, Cooper's Corner, in downtown Wrangell Wednesday night. About an inch of water and mud had flooded the space from back to front.
Wrangell instructor charged with assault

Wrangell police charged a Wrangell teacher and high school wrestling coach with assault in the fourth degree, which is a misdemeanor, on March 25, for allegedly injuring someone at a bar.
