A grand jury in Juneau, for the state of Alaska’s First Judicial District, indicted 66-year old Wrangell resident Steven Ray Marshall Thursday for two drug-related felonies: for allegedly possessing 478.8 grams of methamphetamine and for the intent to deliver.

Talk on the Rock: Jack and Jackson Carney on winning state championship in wrestling

Episode 79: The Wrangell Wolves made another triumph this past weekend, where the boys wrestlers brought home their first ever state championship in the Division II finals. They wrestled in Anchorage at the 2025 ASAA/First National Bank Alaska Wrestling State Championships. Coach Jack Carney and his son Jackson Carney talked with KSTK's Colette Czarnecki about what this past weekend was like. Both shared their visions for the team, how they won and the hard work that got them to championship. On top of bringing home their first state championship award, they also received the Sportsmanship Award and the Division II Coach of the Year Award. The coaches of all participating teams voted Jackson as the Division II Outstanding Wrestler.
