Wrangell’s borough assembly will consider using port revenue bonds to improve the harbor regarding waterfront development at its Tuesday meeting. This will also create a lien on the net revenue of the port fund to pay for the bonds. 

Wrangell’s borough government has been working towards adding a new chapter on micromobility devices to the municipal code for a couple of months now. Wrangell youth often ride the devices, also known as e-scooters and e-bikes, around town. 

Wrangell’s assembly will consider initiating a request to federal and state agencies to immediately restore Southeast Alaska’s shellfish commercial fisheries at Tuesday’s meeting.
